In Mexico , the average exhibition venue has 24,307 sqm with the Poliforum Leon Convention and exhibition Centre in Leon the largest.

In the USA in the past 20 years there has been are increase of nearly 200% in the number of exhibitions. There has been an increase of 152% in the space used for these exhibitions. The number of exhibition venues has increased by 47% and the capacity for exhibitions has risen nearly 90%.

As an indication of exhibition industry growth in North America, the combined exhibition space for the USA and Canada had increased 260,000 sqm in 2006 to 7.9 million.
